I grew up around more technology more than most considering it was the 90s; surrounded by the handheld devices my entrepreneur dad built to test his ideas before smartphones actually existed. My ‘career’ started in activism and lobbying - using social media as a tool for political change.
I spent a decade working with countless brands, charities and organisations on their digital content and strategies before my perspective shifted. After creating the Stop Scrolling challenge and consulting for the UK Government on fake news and the CIPR on social media ethics, I started considering more the impact of this online way of life we’ve all fostered.
Now I’m focused on writing and collaborating on projects that explore the ever-changing relationship between humans and technology, particularly in the context of global issues.
